Paris, France – Keeping up with the global trends that established casual semi-outdoor as the new street style, Lutz Huelle offers his own interpretation of elegant street #OTDD for Spring/Summer 2018. The Paris- based German designer is imagining the perfect wardrobe for powerful and classy yet crazy women.
Lutz Huelle invites us to the Broignart Palace — the historical Paris Stock exchange — where he establishes movements from powerful to soft but always with a fearless casual elegance. Making the ordinary into extraordinary outfits, his silhouettes somehow become nearly explosive. Delicate women are embodying girl power with masculine winks throughout the looks.
The imposing volumes are softened through delicate belts staying consistent with the structural game. This perfect mix and match of formal but audacious cool, mainly creates the idea of a classy and comfy collection for singular women.
The signature bomber of the eponymous label is presented again with very audacious patch-work panels. (We can find them throughout other pieces of the collection with denim, lace or net fabric materials.) Efficiency is key with the dresses being worn over pants now considered as summer coats. Boyfriend shirts here and there are shown in an elegant and surprising way. Let’s call it a surprising elegance !
The Lutz Huelle lady seems to be a cool badass businesswoman in the soul, but who is pretending to stick to the rules but expresses herself out loud with refinement. From the expected uniform of her own cliché she finally stands out. Indeed, touch of flashy colors, sparkling shoes, tomboy haircut, wide silver eye liner, puffy sleeves and crystal earrings are bringing some funny casual glamour to the workspace!
The politically correct woman who conforms to norms is freaking out, panels – like torn jeans, black leather straps with maybe some sexual hidden interpretations to be noticed. Magnetic spellbinding angels playing with the leather straps as accessories, with net fabric and leather pieces appearing with supposedly classical outfits, impressive and subtitle.
