Riga, Latvia – For Spring/Summer 2018, Kult proposes a feminine collection that balances itself between a modern form of girly chic and inevitable practicality. The house takes cotton, leather and velvet into consideration as it forms and shapes its new silhouettes. This results in long skirts created in both pleated pink and forest green velvet. These pieces and others are worn in looks that include T-shirts bearing the arrest mug shots of celebrities such as Elvis Presley and Pamela Anderson.

From a sales point of view, the collection goes on to include soft edged, asymmetric cut skirts and longer dresses. The most exciting among the latter is the button-down, shirt dress in black and white stripes. And from a style point of view, the looks have been embellished for the catwalk with wrap on, half skirts and dresses in black leather.

Though the collection is far from offering many new ideas about how fashion could evolve in the near future, it does to the line, is consistent and is well made.
