Over the years luxury fashion houses have gained fame for their work with leathers and exotic skins. However, none may lay claim to the accolades that Jean-Claude Jitrois has garnered for himself. And his Spring/Summer 2017 collection is one of the reasons for which no others may lay claim to his title of being the undisputed king of leather couture. His “cuire couture” is without rival !
The John Galliano collection for Spring/Summer 2017 has pretty much ignored the massive rufflemania trend. And therefore Galliano’s option is good for fashion as not everyone will want to look like everyone else in the street.
…The ruffles do nothing to soften the edge in these particular instances. However, it does say that the Emanuel Ungaro woman has the ability to be tough, but still chic !
