With this its 50th edition, it presents Portuguese designers known for excellent shoes and fine tailoring. They don’t necessarily follow the trends. They simply follow their own creative vision, which gives them an artistic and unique style. If that happens to suit the trends, it’s a plus.</p> <p>The upcoming Fall/ Winter 2017/18 edition of the event sees its best designers presenting on the runway a wide variety of styles. From deconstructive athleisure to pastel pop, let’s take a look at the best looks of the season. The first day, David Ferreira stole the show with his extravagant designs. With an overload of pink and fluffy looks he reminds us of his Spanish equivalent Agatha Ruiz de la Prada. Besides the fun, the collection is beautifully cohesive, with quality materials and excellent tailoring. Pastel, fun and pop designs were also found in a couple of other collections.</p> <p>Furthermore, there are many oversized designs walking down the runways – sometimes with deconstructive or assymetric elements. Two of the most beloved designers in this specific category are Rita Afonso and João Oliveira. These two designers competed in the ‘young talent’ competition and both went home with a prize.</p> <p>Youth fashion was very present at the catwalk with sporty, fresh looks with bright colors and loose fits. It is great to see how Lisbon fashion week creates a platform for young designers and shares their talent with the world.</p> <p>There are a lot of sporty, artistic and modern looks to be found during Lisbon Fashion Week. There are also a couple of established designers who showed some elegant and feminine pieces for classic beauties. They create a perfect balance between modern and classic shows. Some of the favorite classic designers are Luís Carvalho and Dino Alves who showed in their collections chiffon dresses, lace and lots of timeless black designs.</p> <p>All in all, Lisbon fashion week has a great selection of talented designers. A wide variety of styles were shown, which keeps the level high and interesting for the national, as well as for the international market. – </b>True to his tradition, Luis Buchinho likes to play with geometrical and asymmetric forms, he gets inspiration from the best <a href="https://enlightenclothingcompany.com/">sacred geometry clothes</a>. His colors play with each other in a soft way. This season he holds tight to that in his Fall Winter 2014/15 collection for the season.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Though less exciting than the collection he showed days prior in Paris, this collection seems to be inspired by it nonetheless.
