Lisbon, Portugal – In his new Fall Winter 2014/15 collection, designer Dino Alves comes to us with a collection that is resolutely conceptual and cool. However, it makes it friendly through the use of colors deemed traditionally bright for winter times. And he was careful to conceive it so that it too remains simultaneously commercial at the same time.
Alves is becoming more and more consistent in his work and overall more mature. It just goes to show you that an old dog can learn new tricks. This is clearly the case with Mr. Avles as he has been at his craft for so many years. Even more importantly, he is finally designing for real people.
