MILICA TRICKOVIC: The Strong & The Beautiful

Novi Sad, Serbia – Serbian designer Milica Trickovic stunned the audience with an extremely exciting collection for the new season. Fall Winter 2016/17 sees the designers expanding her creative range while making the claim that she may indeed be one of the hottest designers to emerge from the Balkans.
Milica Trickovic begins with some beautiful evening gowns in powdery blue. And as the sounds of French clubbing song “BABY ! BABY!” blasts, we see the collection quickly evolve to include lots of lace, bustiers, corsets and crepe trousers. On occasion there is the now indispensable jumpsuit.
As the music continues, the style evolution staged by Trickovic rages on to include sunflower yellow gowns and lots of coats. This latter are done in a patchwork of leather and fur. She then works to effortlessly include rose gold in her dress with spaghetti straps. A last look of interest in this collection is the dress with the semi-fishtail. It perfectly ends out the collection with its flashy, green sequins.
