Paris, France – Versace has announced that superstar pop icon Madonna is the face of its news Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

Photographed in New York City by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott, the new campaign (#MadonnaForVersace) is a reflection of the many facets that have defined the materials girl’s life and career since her rise to fame more than 30 years ago: visionary, pop star, businesswoman, humanitarian, entertainer, documentarian and director.

It’s always exciting to be dressed head to toe in Versace and experience first-hand Donatella’s vivid imagination and passion that she has created for this collection,” commented Madonna.

Donatella Versace, the matriarch and artistic director of the house of Versace said, “Madonna is one of the true icons of Versace. I am thrilled to have my friend and the most powerful and directional artist as the face of Versace for Spring 2015.”

This marks the fourth time that Madge has appeared in campaigns for Versace. Her first turn at the house dates back to 1995 when her friend Gianni Versace first called upon her to unite her image with the house’s unstoppable brand appeal.
