Paris, France – Spring is the season that always seems to privilege the imagination of the house of Versace. This season Donatella Versace has pulled out all the stops. The result is a determination to deliver a collection that is resolutely delicious!
Heading eastwards for visual inspiration, the new Spring/Summer 2016 collection brings harmony to the natural opposition that exists between fluidity and structure. Tailored suits have amply cut trousers and are paired effortlessly together with long, flowing shirts. This latter is often in the form of button down numbers and are completed with ties. Though chic, the looks are also given a relaxed feel through their accessories, which include simple sandals. This is the basic aesthetic of the collection. From there color moves in to add diversity.
Brown, purple, lilac, blue, taupe, creme and sand form the palette. At times warm and at other they are infused with light. Together they provide variety of manners for dressing according to one’s humour of the moment.
Versace has also created for the season every possibly conceivable accessory that one could need for completing his wardrobe. Here one can chose from a wide range of sandals, eyewear, belts, scarves, ties, caps, bags and jewellery pieces.
