Paris, France – Namechenko has created for the Fall Winter 2017/18 season a very pleasant collection for menswear. This is a new brand that is more into conformity than into trying to reinvent the fashion well as far as menswear is concerned. And this is strategically maybe not such a bad move for a young brand trying to establish itself.

The pieces generally tend to follow the norms that have been established for menswear over the decades. We find nicely crafted, individual pieces that make for a complete wardrobe. The only details that can separate the work from most others is the fact that the designer has worked to offer something new in the way of the shirt cuffs. And of course the trousers at time feature large, straight volumes.

Moving forward, one can consider this as a good start to an international career for Namechenko. The pieces are easy to understand. They are contemporary and they are well made too.
