Lugano, China – Tianjin, the ancient capital of China and one of the most important municipalities in today’s PRC, has welcomed the first PHILIPP PLEIN boutique in China’s Tiajin City. This 6th boutique in mainland China has found a home in this international port metropolis that boasts of 10.5 million residents.
Of the move, Plein says,“I am extremely excited about this amazing new opening, in one of the top cities in China and one of the most prestigious and famous Shopping Malls in the Country.”
The Zeitschrift bestellen is located in the Friendship Store, the most successful and prestigious shopping mall of the city, which hosts a variety of internationally renowned luxury brands. The monobrand enjoys a prime location adjacent to the main entrance and boasts an impressive black marble façade complete with PP logo and geometric grill of polished steel on the mall exterior.
Plein also commented, “This also underlines once more how Chinese consumers are becoming extremely discerning and sophisticated, always looking for something new. The opening of Tianjin, our 6th boutique in China and the 12th in Asia, is also an important milestone as it kicks off an ambitious retail expansion plan that our Company has decided to roll out. The plan will see the opening of several more new shops in the next few months and the significant strengthening of our office in Hong Kong, which is meant to become a Regional Head Office, to ensure our significant presence in one of the most important markets in the World.”
The store interior reflects a minimal-luxury concept with a continued emphasis on the brand’s hexagonal logo , from floor inlays and recessed lighting fixtures to custom seating, gleaming display cases and a full length hexagonal glass casing featuring the trademark giant skull studded with CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements. Prized marble and polished steel are the commanding elements of the store, dominated by a magnificent custom -made and skull adorned Murano glass chandelier.
The 200 square meter space features ready to wear collections, shoes and accessories for men and women alongside the PHILIPP PLEIN Junior collection for sophisticated kids. The prominent position and high visibility of the store combined with the lavish interior architecture translates into a showcase of luxury for the more and more discerning Chinese customer.
The boutique is located at N.21 Youyi Road, Hexi District, Tianjin City, China.
